In a cluttered/messy environment you could easily hide some bigger weapons behind those stacks of books. But you could also choose to float the Mannequin with some storage tricks, with permanent surfaces around the house, like the wooden parts of the static walls.I personally like to use the books in the picture below to hide the tail. Of course, the weapon size will differ and you will have to adjust to that. Normally, you will always have the same height for weapons. Some surfaces align nicely to the height, like in this example: You can also use shelves on a certain non-grit height to make it look like the shields stand on it.
